20 × 16 Oil on canvas, April 2026
This painting was originally from the model Josie, and I changed it considerably. Adding the cherry blossoms , and changing almost all of it, see the earlier versions below.
Saturday Evening Post Girl
Oil on canvas board, 20 × 16, May 3 2026
This painting went through 3 evolutions ! It was originally from a live model, Josie. I loved the covers of the Saturday Evening Post, all done by great illustrators. So I made this painting into a fictional cover. This image is NOT on any original post cover. It’s my debut as a fictional Post illustrator!!! I put the date on the cover as exactly 100 years ago !
Red Head in Green
Oil on canvas board, 16 × 20, April 2026
This painting was also originally painted from the live model Josie and I changed it to be a more interesting painting—composition and colorwise. See the original version below this one.
Butterfly Fly Away
20 × 16 Oil Feb. ? 2026
This painting was painted over another painting I did mostly from my imagination. I liked it but didn’t like it enough not to change it! LOL. See the earlier version below. Earlier I called it White Butterflies. Everything changes!
In a friend and fellow artist’s private collection.
Hold Me
20 × 16 Oil on canvas board, March 2026
Another painting over an older painting of model Josie. The new one is “just my imagination, once again, once again.” Painted over twice !!! And I absolutely love the Fleetwood Mac song Hold Me !!! See the older versions below.
Oil on canvas board 20 × 16
March 2025
This painting was inspired by an ad I saw in a magazine of this incredible pose. I changed it immensely and came up with this abstract artist painting. I love how everything turned out!
It’s All A mystery
20× 16 Oil on canvas board, April 2026
This painting was also overpainted over an earlier painting of a live model. I experimented with dripped paint and abstraction and I like the results, different and unique. See the second painting for the underpainting, which was a very quick study, maybe 15 minutes. And that 15 minute painting was painted over another earlier painting, you can still see it in the background.
